My kids think it’s weird that when I’m not running, I’m reading about running. Whether it’s my own book, a library book, a blog post, Runner’s World, or runnersworld.com, I am frequently caught reading about running.
This from one kid who usually watches ESPN, has Sports Illustrated in one hand and espn.com on his phone in the other hand, and is most likely recording a game of some sort on the dvr. Now that I don’t get š .
Have you heard of Haruki Murakami’s book, What I Talk About When I Talk About Running? It’s on my to-read list, and it sounds like it’s his ode to running. Thought you might be interested!
Oh yeah, thanks for the reminder!
I thoroughly enjoyed Born to Run. It was interesting, educational and suspenseful in a weird runner-way kind of way! I will have to check out the others you mention. Thanks for sharing!
